6th European Pediatric GI Motility Meeting

In a building adjacent to this park, the 6th European Paediatric Gastro-Intestinal Motility Meeting, a conference endorsed by the European Society of Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (ESPGHAN) and organized by the Belgian Society of Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (BeSPGHAN), will take place in October 2013.

This conference is organized every two years and brings together a loyal and hardworking group of recognized experts in the field of intestinal motility in Paediatrics, professionals in sub-specialization and some paramedics. A total of 200 participants are expected to attend the meeting.

The retirement of a Belgian Paediatric Gastroenterologist appreciated for her human and professional qualities both in Belgium and internationally (Prof. M. Scaillon) is the opportunity to organize this seminar in Belgium in 2013.

During the conference, various diseases, especially but not only functional, will be addressed in terms of basic and translational science, clinical features, diagnostic investigative techniques and treatments (including endoscopic techniques or natural orifice surgery). This year, we encourage corporate partners to organize sponsored expert lectures.
