CIRSE ESIR COURSE Stroke Intervention

Recommended for level 4 / Advanced

The involvement of interventional radiology in the management of stroke has increased in recent years. This is mainly due to new endovascular treatment modalities such as intra-arterial thrombectomy and recanalisation for ischaemic stroke.

We encourage you to take part in the first advanced ESIR course of the year, dealing with stroke treatment. The course includes hands-on practice on flow models as well as case-based discussions on mechanical thrombectomy, technical problems and solutions.
