XXVIIth Belgian Week of Gastroenterology

Dear Colleagues,

Welcome to the new website of the Belgian Week of Gastroenterology! We hope you will find it user-friendly and welcome your remarks to further improve it.

The XXVIIth edition of the Belgian Week of Gastroenterology will take place at the Square, Brussels from Wednesday Evening February 25 until Saturday February 28, 2015.

Last year we organized for the first time an ultrasound course, which was most appreciated by the participants and clearly answers an unmet need. Therefore, the BWGE 2015 will also include an ultrasound course on Wednesday and Thursday evening.

As in the previous years, there will also be an interactive case report session.

Furthermore we welcome for the first time the recently founded Young BASL who will contribute with a scientific meeting.

Abstract submission and congress registration will open on October 1, 2014. Deadline for submission of the abstracts is December 1, 2014 at midnight! Abstracts can be submitted for presentation at the scientific meetings of the participating societies and research groups. The best abstracts of each group will be eligible for presentation at the Plenary Session.

Deadline for submission of cases for the interactive case report session is alsoDecember 1, 2014 at midnight!

The BWGE also offers research grants to support research in gastroenterology and hepatology. Deadline for the submission for the research grant applications is December 15, 2014. All information can be found on this website.

Make sure to register online and get the low price registration until January 24, 2015.
